This Privacy Policy explains what information Reelio ("we", "us") collects when you use the Reelio Android app, how we use it, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to let you sign in with email/password or Google;
- To generate the videos, images, and personalized templates you request, including sending your prompts and, where you choose to include them, your photos to Google's Gemini AI models for processing;
- To store your creations, brand kit, and template preferences so they're available across sessions;
- To operate the credit/wallet system, including granting welcome credits and tracking usage of AI-assisted features;
- To send you app notifications you've enabled (for example, when a generation finishes);
- To maintain the security, stability, and abuse-prevention of the App (including detecting fraudulent referral or credit activity);
- To understand how features are used so we can improve Reelio.
3. Where your information is stored
Some data (your creations, saved templates, draft form inputs) is stored locally on your device. Your account details, brand kit, uploaded photos, generated media, and wallet balance are also stored on Reelio's backend servers so they remain available if you sign in on a new device. Prompts and, where applicable, uploaded photos used for AI generation are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing under Google's own terms and privacy commitments.
4. Third parties we work with
- Google Firebase — app diagnostics, crash reporting, and App Check attestation.
- Google Gemini API — AI-assisted image and video generation from your prompts.
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication method.
- Google Play — app distribution and, if introduced in the future, in-app billing for paid credits.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't share your uploaded photos or creations with other users or advertisers.
5. Your choices & rights
- Access & update: you can view and edit your profile and brand kit from the Profile tab at any time.
- Delete your content: you can remove saved templates and creations from within the app.
- Delete your account: contact us at the email below and we'll delete your account and associated data, except where we're required to retain limited records by law.
- Notifications: you can turn off app notifications from your device's system settings at any time.
6. Data retention
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's features. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted network connections and hashed passwords to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
8. Children's privacy
Reelio is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Reelio's features evolve. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and where changes are significant, we'll let you know in the App.
